Most aren't looking for answers, dear, they're probing to find out if they can troll with their question.  But they end up failing, and keep asking stupider and stupider questions so that everyone can see they're trolls, dear.

When you actually read the bible and think while reading it, and start to realize and admit that you have been fooled by other believers, then you will beon your way to become free and clear of that horrible book of lies.  Think this. Why would a god have need for a book, when as you now think he can just put in your mind what he wants to tell you. Result.  You could learn if you are honest to yourself, that the bible is a book of lies.

Satan isn’t an atheist. There are no agnostic demons. They know scripture.... better than most Christians do.

Believing in God never saved anyone. Knowing scripture never saved anyone.

We are commanded to love God with all our heart, strength, soul and mind and love others as we love ourselves. Without love we are clanging gongs. Let them see your love and be hungry for what you have. Love is the one and only thing that triumphs over evil.

At best, religion as a whole is nothing more than an assumed conclusion based on suspect claims from dubious sources supported by logical fallacies nested within circular reasoning bringing you back to the assumed conclusion.  It is dishonest to assert as fact that which is not evidently true.  Yet that is exactly what religion does.  It tries to assert as fact things which we already know are not true or even possible.  Not only is religion not evidently true, but it is evidently not true as well.  By definition magic, the supernatural and deities cannot exist.  It is an absurd idea left over from a primitive time in history.  Written by ignorant goat herders that had no idea of the natural world around them or how it even worked.  That, is an uncomfortable truth that believers tend to shy away from because it deals with reality in an adult manner.

I've read it at least 4 times plus going over various books and verses, and I always shake my head and wonder how is anyone so stupid as to blieve the craola in the bible.

God does not write on paper or stone, therefore the entire Bible is not the Word of God. THE WHEAT AND THE TARES ARE THERE TOGETHER; Only a true SERVANT can distinguish the difference. However, God's Word is more prevalent in the Bible than any other scripture.

It is funny how many atheists are atheists because they looked in the Bible for answers.  As you are no doubt aware, only a minimum of Christians have actually read the Bible.  Most only listen to the sanitized version told to them from the pulpit that filters out the contradictions, the horrible things done "in God's name", and the outright fairytale nature of the book.  As Mark Twain said, "The best cure for Christianity is the Bible."

Maybe for the same reasons, religious people keep asking questions about or at atheists... about any subject in Yahoo answer when we all know that Religious people got the Scriptures is right in front of them... but they keep asking questions looking for answers.
