Heard that bufotenin is found in urine of autism patients and several other disorders. Bufotenin, toxin found on poison toads. The toads ?

Do not actually create the toxin their own though, but by eating toxic bugs. Is it possible that some diseases producing bufotenin in the urine could be caused by insects that made their way into the food supply? Where could the bufotenin be coming from? Have also heard many food plants contain DMT, including oranges.

I heard is not good enough. You need to cite the source, preferably from a peer-reviewed scientific journal and not 'Dave's Weird Wonders' website.

What is your source for that?
