    No new trend, it's just that world is facing pandemic - Coronavirus that is taking lives of people from across the globe.

    people are wearing the face mask these days because of the Cornona Virus. as everyone can be protected from this virus by wearing a mask and keep washing their hands. you have no idea the other person sitting with you has this virus so you can be safe if you are wearing the mask and washing your hands continuously.

    People are trying to protect themselves and others by wearing a mask - hoping to lessen the possibility of transmitting or being exposed to the Covid/Corona Virus.

    While I wouldn't call it a trend, it's definitely a safety measure I hope many more people will emulate.

    It's to reduce the transmission of disease.  It protects both the wearer from others and others from the wearer.  It's by no means 100% effective, if much at all, but anything to help is a good idea.  It also reduces the tendency to touch one's face with infected fingers.

    Yes, total style. I wear the mask with thigh-high, lace-up boots and NOTHING else.
