Most shops and facilities closed down, later and later opening hours. But what happened to reduced bus service to save petrol in London?
Why don't buses come every 30 minutes instead of 10 mins as usual.

They're operating a Saturday service. Which IS reduced on some routes. But people still need to go shopping for food.
And buses don't use petrol. They run on diesel or are hybrid diesel/electric.

Many bus services are running less frequently. I doubt that any bus in the UK runs on petrol, they're virtually all diesel with a few hybrid or electric.
