Can painting a mural of Satan on my house hurt its resale value?

No, probably not.  A house can always be repainted.  Inside and out.  But a potential buyer may wonder what kind of person lived there.  If they are thinking a Satan worshiper, then that's not good.  That would turn buyers off.  If it was just a cool looking mural, on one inside wall, not advertising to the entire neighborhood, a buyer might buy the house anyway and just paint over it.  Most people wouldn't want Satan painted on their wall, any wall, even if it was cool looking.

Yes, but you could paint it for now and then paint over it before you try to sell the house.

Probably, because it would cut the number of potential buyers by a large %.

Most likely, unless your buyer happens to be a satan worshioper
