I've lost 3 pounds this week by eating low calorie and drinking green tea and doing manual labour - do you think the tea is causing the loss?

The tea has nothing to do with it. Your weight loss is from eating little and doing work. Tea is not magic.

It's the low calories and exercise. Plus cutting out soft drinks and other unhealthy beverages. Green tea is good for tho so maybe.

The tea is contributing to a positive and stimulated attitude enticing you to do manual labor which is the thing making you lose weight

No. The manual labor is doing it. Tea does nothing.

I think it's a combination of eating low calories and doing the manual labour. You lose weight by burning more calories than you take in.

This is the correct answer. A combination of low calories, and physical/manual labor.
