Instead of giving everyone a stimulus check, wouldn’t it of helped people a lot more if you just gave everyone a 750 credit score?

Update:

This would be the beat way to bail out people instead of a check

No. That would help no one with anything. Credit history is still a thing.

No, that would not be more helpful.

no, would have destroyed the credit system.

That would be a disaster. Relaxed credit standards was the cause of the 2008 housing crisis when the real estate bubble burst.

No. People have low credit scores for a reason. They can't manage their finances.

    (1) The stimulus check isn't really meant to help people, it's meant to help companies. There is other help, such as increased unemployment money, for individuals. The check that everybody gets regardless of need is meant to be spent. It's meant to pay your bills so that the landlords, credit card issuers, cable company, and other people you owe don't go out of business.

    (2) How would a 750 credit score help anyone? (3) Giving everyone the same credit score would make the score meaningless. It wouldn't make credit companies spontaneously lend money to people who have no means of paying it back.

They'd screw up a 750 credit score faster than they'll blow through $1200.

I love people that don't pay their bills and then whine about how unfair the system is to them.

True, but being laid off and having perfect credit still won't get you a loan, since you would have no income to pay it back with.

It would just bankrupt the lenders.

A Fake 750 credit score with no job is just about useless.  Besides, every creditor would know and would not extend credit to deadbeats.
