You need to consider immunocompromised and disabled people of all ages.

How abt we quarantine all you college idiots. Since many went to spring break and many more are getting sick!

There are many who died under 65. It not the age factor but a health factor. College kids are not as healthy as many think.

Just look at NYC many who are incredibly sick are in their mid 20's. Because they do not follow protocol or listen to people who tell them to stay inside and social distance.

    Bunch of morons they are.

They simple CAN NOT follow directions 1 bit. In the "real world" which most of us live in. Guess what. You have to FOLLOW DIRECTIONS and do what you are told to do. If you can't you ain't worth sh1t.

And in this climate not following directions can get you killed. Such as listening to your elders and doctors. Let alone in the real work world.

I say we quarantine and isolate you and all those idiots from society until you grow up and learn something.

It's not just people that are 65+, younger people are getting it as well. People with underlying medical conditions such as autoimmune are also at risk.

Funny you should mention "65+" people. This is the exact same age group that is most affected by the common flu virus.

You DO know this is the middle of the cold and flu season, right?

So then, if this COVID-19 virus has symptoms identical to those of the common flu...how can they tell the two apart? How do they know it's a deadly disease when it coincides with the common flu season?

Just by slapping a label on it? Just *calling* it Coronavirus makes it so?

Why don't people learn to think - and realize that this is nothing more than the common flu being hyped by the Democratic party in their never-ending attempts to destroy Trump, along with America in the process?

Their "epidemic" is easily being "spread" through the fake media that the intelligence-challenged have suddenly accepted as the "go-to" source for accuracy. There's no other way to explain this "deadly virus" that only emerged in China less than 3 months ago but has spawned a worldwide epidemic overnight.

Both the Democrats and China were unhappy with Trump's trade deal and are working to turn this back on him since the failure of the impeachment failed to do so.

No, it's not just the United States - it's "hit" other major world cities with the same result - cripple the economy so that Socialism can be ushered in.

    IT IS UNACHIEVABLE

    (1)

Even if all people over 65 self-quarantine, some of them shall be infected by young people spreading the virus.

You can never get perfect isolation of old folks unless you round them up by military force and ship them all off to some huge island.

    We know this won't happen.

    (2)

The plan is to reduce the spread of the virus enough, soon, so that we have so few people wit it that it is no longer a big threat if they walk around with it; especially when the weather becomes warmer and this is expected to partially or completely fight off the virus.

    (3)

So instead of saying "fvck those old geasers, let them drop dead", we are saying as a society "let's temper this thing for another month or two and then we can resume normal activities safely".

Older people have self quarantined but someone has to deliver food or walk their dog and they can still get sick from the contact.
