My cast was just taken off (broken ankle) and now it is stiff, and sore. any suggestions on how to help it feel less sore?

    This is very normal.  You should start physical therapy.  You can absolutely do exercises at home.  The key is to start slow and easy, then work up.  Not only is your bone newly mended, you muscles, tendons, and ligaments are tight and atrophied.  Don't expect things to be "perfect" for a while. Also understand the you'll need to work your toes and foot because they have also been in a cast. Here are some videos of home stretches that would be a good start.

    Keep walking then elevate it. And ice it   I had the same many years ago, it will be swollen for some time, but it will get stronger. You must keep moving.

    Follow the after care instructions that the doctor *should* have given you.
