Why didn't Bloomberg run as a Republican since he's about as liberal as Hitler?

    Bloomberg's a floater.

He ran for mayor as a Republican because there was too much competition on the Democrat side. The same thing is happening now. He knows full well he could never be the Republican nominee, so now he's running as a Democrat.

Bloomberg has a healthcare plan that is modeled after Europe. Remember that most of the world runs on the idea that a person only has those rights which the government allows, or that you can buy through your wealth. So, when it comes to European healthcare, it always comes to the point with everyone who cannot buy their way out, as to what your life is worth. If you are an expense to the government, then your life is to be terminated to save the expensive cost of keeping you alive in your old age. Bloomberg has stated several times that he would not provide healthcare benefits to elderly (probably 65) but provide them hospice and a way to die. That is a democrat plan, not a republican plan. And, he probably has some qualifiers on who deserves to be born that are restrictive. That would also be a democrat plan. So, Bloomberg is a democrat not a republican. Hitler would have been a democrat, too.

Hitler was socially conservative to the extreme, no democrat would ever gas Jews, a Republican would enjoy it

You're about to vote for a socialist.  Hitler was leader of the National Socialist German Worker's Party.
