Is WWE fake?! I'm never convinced that many pro wrestlers could be so damn huge and do these crazy unrealistic stunts. It must all be an act?

Fake? Predetermined outcome. Taking a bump is taking a bump though. Its entertainment. Fun to watch if done well.

Pro wrestling has been scripted since the 1920s. It was dying because it was boring. In one bout, Frank Gotch held George Hackenschmidt in a leg lock for 15 minutes while the audience yawned and dozed. Gotch kept attacking ,Hack's legs until he was crippled and had to retire. Scripted bouts can be more entertaining to audiences and lessens the amount of injuries to wrestlers. THEY DO GO FAR WITH STUNTS, SO THERE'S BOUND TO BE MISTAKES THAT CAN CAUSE SEVERE INJURIES.

  • Laws of Science still apply to Scripted Athletic Entertainment. Do you think The Law of Gravity has been waived for Professional Wrestling? If you do you have been watching way to much Animation and CGI and are confusing Fantasy with Laws of Physics. What you see in Professional Wrestling takes hundreds, if not thousands of hours of Practice and hard work.

It is an act. They are professional entertainers.

Ask Dr. D David Schultz. No, on second thought, don't.

    • No, let him or her ask Dr. D David Schultz and get knocked around. Better yet, go ask Meng or The Barbarian?
