Have you ever felt misunderstood by your fellow Yahoo posters, was/is there something you want(ed) to clarify?

I don't really think about it. This is a Q&A site, not a chat room or social media. What others think about me or anyone else, is their business (not mine). If I feel i made a post that was unclear, I might try to clarify it, depending on what it was. FYI, your post here is chat so understand that such posts are more likely to be reported and removed. It doesn't make sense to worry what people online, who don't know you, think about you.

  • No, I am not misunderstood.  I have made my point here many times.  I will with the help of the Yahoo activites take down those who lie, cheat and make up fantasy stories just to earn points or best answers.  Being online 24 hours a day is not necessary to ask and answer questions here.  I hope I made my point.

Yes, but trying to clarify does not help. The same people make the same accusations over, and over. Sometimes there are new accusations.

I will start (before you dislike this answer, please read entirely). I want to apologize to everyone. Few days ago, I asked a question about a driving incident I was involved in, in which I misinterpreted the intents of other drivers, acted foolishly and recklessly, and went on a rant here about it. Four responded. I have admitted here that I have multiple accounts, so I decided to down-vote and report, one person had an answer I actually appreciated, I voted their answer as favorite answer, and told them this, she was the nicest of the four and tried to understand how I felt and what I thought later on. Someone, in particular, posted an answer that I felt flat out insulted me, instead of phrasing his answer better, he just flat out demeaned me, I reported him and down-voted him few times with my other accounts to report him, but that was the only occasion. I do not use my multiple accounts to troll people, truth be told, I have had them for a while, because I used to have an online community here years back, but someone trolled me for about one or two entire years, on the clock, whatever I did, he eventually stopped though and was nice after I tried to be nice to him.

I also use my accounts to up-vote my Yahoo posts, but only if I feel as if they are not receiving the recognition they need. That all said, though the user was foolish in his answer, I was foolish in my decision to act on this. Additionally, the truth of the matter is, I even reported my own question with my other accounts, because I wanted it gone, but unfortunately, whether you report or not (on here, on Quora, wherever) content does not always disappear regardless how insensitive or inappropriate content is. I wanted to clear the air with everyone else. I am not a perfect person, no one is, but I am not a bad person. I aim to try to get along with everyone, online and off person, though that seems too idealistic, I have no desire to fight, I have no impulse to bully, and if I did to anyone here, I truly apologize. I hope none of you will think badly of me. I acted like an idiot, I acted like a troll, I acted like a bully, I acted like a loser, but if you just take the time to get to know me, you will come to know that deep down I am none of those things, and something I can promise you is if you are thinking this is a lie, something I am definitely not is a liar, I have lied before, we all have, but if I lie, I will usually admit later on if need be, and I do not enjoy lying, not in my nature. Anyway, sorry this is so long, but I had so much to share. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and if you have any answers of your own, please share. All the best!
