    How many do you know already? If only one then definitely yes.

    Regularly using a second language has health-benefits (prevents/postpones the onset of alzheimer's), and shows the world that you are not a *complete* moron. It helps you see some connections that your native language obscures.

    In some cases it can help you get a more interesting job.

    It will give you an idea how difficult it is for people to learn your native language

    If you don't have an affinity with a specific country/ethnicity, or simply want to learn the easiest language, I recommend Esperanto.

    Even if you choose a "bigger" language to learn after after that, it won't be a waste of time.
