As an average, yes. Not all kids stop growing while in high school, but almost none of them shrink

Women reach their full heights long before they enter college.  Most men do so around the age of 18.  Since men might grow a little more at, say, 19 (no guarantees), college men might be, on average, a touch taller than high school juniors and seniors, but college women would not be.

A person's height has nothing to do with what grade they are in.

Most kids have grown their tallest by high school. Therefor, they should grow smarter in College, not taller. I was 6 foot tall when I was a freshman in high school and never got any taller. But I never went to college either. My dad went to college and to a university as well. It didn't make him as tall as me!

No.  Students in their last year of high-school are usually around 18-years-old and most have already reached their adult height, though some college students may grow another inch during their mid-20's.

They are unlikely to be statistically shorter aren't they?

🥴 only in highly elevated areas. Mountain areas.

Coastal states, our elders are generally shorter than the kids.

What a dumb question. Even third graders know that different people have different heights
