In India after the struck down of IPC 497, if a wife commits adultery and the husband wants to divorce but the wife does't wants it, then?

If the wife denies about commiting adultery in court and does'nt wan't to divorce, then will the husband get divorce on that grounds? Or will he have to prove it again while the wife gets away getting the benefit of doubt?

Under Indian family law there are grounds other than infidelity that allow divorce. This husband would simply go talk to a lawyer about this and in most cases he could divorce the wife without having to prove adultery. So IPC 497 is somewhat irrelevant.

The husband will have to prove adultery and PROBABLY her father will have to return the cows he exchange for his daughter's hand in marriage.
