If you had a severe thunderstorm that 3 feet of snow in a half an hour, with 80mph winds and golf ball size hail, can it be a blizzard?

If you dont call that a blizzard, what the hell would you call it?

    • The irony is a blizzard is supposed to last a minimum of 3 hours. If you had an EF5 wedge snownado added to the mix, it would probably be off the charts. May not be realistic, but it would make a good sci-fi disaster film.

That description is the definition of a blizzard.

    • In warm weather, it would have been a regular severe thunderstorm. Would an EF5 snownado in the middle of severe thundersnow constitute a blizzard?
