What do we eventually want for humanity? What's our endgame / ultimate goal?

There is no single goal that 'we' ALL want. Different people have different ideas about what our 'ultimate goal' can or should be.

There is no endgame because no one really believes the world will ever end. Even those who claim to know what will happen in the "last days" are well aware that it is a vague and fuzzy concept that we can't pin down the date of. The goal for humanity is not "ultimate" but rather ongoing progress. Most world philosophies share a generalized moral momentum toward the golden rule: “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” But it's generally recognized that humanity still has a long way to go in that direction.

Being honest, I think that all humanity cares is about them self, and there is lot of reasons coming out of that so its practically impossible to know what exactly?..... For example, look how crazy, corrupted or damage the world is now, nature, emotionally, etc. What can I say, we may cause the end of the world or get it better, who know for sure?

It's not about the end game or the ultimate goal. It's all about the climb.
You know what you get with the end goal? Now you're just ready to go on to the next passion. Life was designed this way so we will have desires to keep going.

It seems that we really and truly want to satisfy our base needs at the expense of our future. We are a very short-sighted species.

What you want and what you get will be two totally different things. Remember, all relationships end in tragedy. This one in particular.
