only got new glasses 6 months ago and now my distance vision is blurry, what should I do?

There is a chance that your eyes have changed. In fact, this is what probably happened. You need another exam. It is not anyone's fault that this happened so don't expect anything free from whomever checked your eyes last time.

Go back to the eye doctor and tell them what happened. Have your eyes reexamined and so that you can see you got the right prescription and if is correct it might not have been filled right. Now if you have bifocals or trifocals make sure you are looking in the correct part of the glasses the bottom is for reading and the top parts are for distances. and make sure they are cleaned good.

Go back to see your optometrist and or see an ophthalmologist. People's eye sight does change. You may simply need a new prescription even if it has only been six months. You should also be checked to rule out cataracts, glaucoma, corneal abrasion, diabetes, autoimmune issues, etc.
