I last read "Die Moorhexe" (lit. transl. The Swamp Witch), a not very good horror novel that is, to my knowledge, only available in its German original.

    Before that, I read Catch-22.

Your question is asked here from time to time and I'm always wondering why. Just curious. Why would it be interesting what some randoms people on YA have last read?

Thanks for the BA - even though I wouldn't know how one answer could be better, or even best, for such a question. A question, I clearly don't understand!   :-p

The King's Assassin by Angus Donald.

It's a fictional account of the English Barons bringing King John into line and forcing him to sign the Magna Carta.

Now there was the most badly-written book of the last decade. Interesting, certainly, but the writing was amateur at best.
