Do you find Geography of Eastern Europe to be an interesting class?

I live in the USA, so the only time period for which we studied maps of Eastern Europe was the time of the Roman Empire! And then maybe southeastern Europe came into our study of the Crusades...
Very late in life, I wanted to know more about the Huns and the Goths and the Vandals. Luckily, much more is known today, about those groups, than was known when I went to school in the 1950s. Modern archaeology in places like Romania has revealed a good deal more, about the migrations of the centuries immediately before and after the fall of Rome.

Sure. But I always like history and geography. I also lived in Europe for 9 years.
