    Sounds like this was already answered, but for sure Juice. He was the only thing on the team and he was still unstoppable. Thurman wasn't even the best player on offense. Both were great, but I would say OJ.

    I was too young to watch Simpson play, but I've got to say Simpson.  Thomas was good, but a certain level of his success was scheme.  And you can tell because his backups generally did nearly as well as he did.  Simpson though was one of the true dominant backs of all time according to every old person I talk to.

    O.J. rushed for 2,003 yards in a 14-game season in 1973, went for 1,817 yards + 23 total TDs in 14 games in '75, and 1,503 yards in '76.

    Thomas never once reached 1,500 in a season in his 13-year career.
