Can photons rise in space just like hot air rises in the Atmosphere?

Photons travel in a straight line at the speed of light. They do not rise or fall.

No. Convection cannot occur in space, and in space there is no meaningful up or down.

But photons can be redirected by gravity and also by being refracted through gas clouds if they are dense enough.

No. That just describes radiated heat. Your comment is irrelevant to your question and to my answer. Also photons aren’t particles: they’re quantum packets of energy which sometimes behave like particles.
