Should I take a laxative to help with built up gas? ?

I’ve been having pain under my ribs and it’s gas pain. Would a laxative help with this? I’m not constipated

    Laxatives wont help and are you sure it is gas and not your gallbladder, anyway try teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in glass of warm water and drink it.

    It sounds like constipation, people usually have a lot of gas and pain under the rib when constipation, if it has get some Pepto Bismuth that will help.
