Is it ture?
Is it true that the oppressed become the oppressers?

It can be, depending on your definition of oppression.
People have been oppressing each other since the beginning of time. Sometimes people get a chance to oppress back.

No, they lay down and die.

Yup. Look at Israel. The survivors of a holocaust collectively said they would never be the victim again. Understandable. Today the pendulum has gone to the other extreme - land-theft, expulsions, illegal settlements and apartheid in the Occupied Territories, random shootings and indiscriminate bombing in Gaza...

Yes and no. It depends on the person. Some oppressed grows angry and hatred towards those with freedom and then threats and prevents others that turns them to a oppressor because they have this mentality of "If I couldn't do it, then neither can you" However, not every oppressed think that way, some may look up to those with freedom and support them and grows to become someone whos, not an oppressor because of the experiences they been through they don't want to pass that down to others.

Human history is full of oppressors. I think it is generally true that the oppressed eventually are able to become the oppressors. What would be great if we moved beyond that but it isn't as easy as just saying it. People are hard to change. They always tend to look at other groups as less important and inferior.

No, it's true that SOMETIMES that happens, and other times it doesn't. Just like all aphorisms and sayings, it's only true sometimes.

No. The oppressed just change oppressors.
