Does an oxygen concentrator also concentrate the carbon monoxide in the room making the level dangerous? ?

    Small volume concentrators use a molecular sieve technique to separate oxygen molecules from all other gas molecules. Large volume concentrators use fractional distillation to separate gases. A molecule as large as CO cannot fit through the molecular sieve and it becomes a liquid at a different temperature so it distills out separately in fractional distillation systems.

    That is seriously one of the stupidest questions i have ever read. Think about it for a second. Someone who needs extra O2 to survive would not be given a machine that concentrates CO that is deadly it inhale.

    Man, that'd be a really big design flaw.
