Best SECURED credit card?
Trying to build credit but have to get a secured card. In your opinion, what are the best ones?

If you have a relationship with a bank or credit union, it is a good place to ask. Otherwise, Nerdwallet shows decent cards and explains them.
Check if you have a credit score at CreditKarma or DIscover before a formal application.
If you have parent(s) with an excellent history, getting added as an authorized user can improve your score on their account. It very much depends upon the credit card itself. You provide your information, and the card status is added to your record and updated over time.

Set up a relationship with a credit union; and I say pledge $1,000 in a CD to have a useful, beneficial card.

First pay ALL your bill on time. Never miss a payment. Apply for a credit card with your bank and start using it but don't exceed your credit limit and pay it on time.
