Upgrade my computer ram?

I just bought a acer nitro spin 5 and it has only 4gb of ram. The games runs better than I expected on high graphics. But is there anyway you guys can find if I could put a new high ram card in and would it fit?

That's a laptop. There is no graphics card in it. The GPU is soldered on the motherboard. Irreplaceable! Worse, it also most probably shares RAM with the CPU.

    https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/NH.Q2Y...

says your model has 8GB of system RAM.  Your video system has 4GB of Video RAM.

You cannot improve either one.  RAM chips are soldered to boards to save on thickness.  That is what happens when you buy a super slim notebook, not a thicker laptop.

According to this page: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Acer-Nitro-5-Spin-NP... you can't since the RAM is soldered on. Although I find it very odd that a modern gaming laptop would only have 4GB of RAM. You don't happen to be confusing it with video RAM (VRAM), right?

Read the Acer website support specs that say 8GB of RAM, 4GB of VRAM

You can add RAM, from a quick search you can go up to 32 Mb.  There are two slots, hopefully in yours they didn't add two 2 Gb sticks of RAM.  The video card can't be upgraded or at least not economically.
