How do I become king of England?

I think the Windsor family have had enough time in charge. I intend to travel to London and challenge the queen to a duel. The winner shall rule the country.

The King or Queen doesn't "rule" the country. He or she "reigns" with the consent of Parliament during his or her lifetime. There's a vast difference between ruling and reigning.

You can't. Parliament has decided that the royals of the House of Windsor, the descendants of the Stuart House's Sophia of Hanover, are the people in line of succession to the throne,(Sophia was the daughter of Elizabeth Stuart, the second child of James VI and I, King of Scotland, England, and Ireland, and his wife, Anne of Denmark). Parliament sees no need to change their law. So, in order to be monarch, you have to be the legitimate scion of the Windsors and in just the right spot of succession.

The correct name of the realm is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Britain is made up of England, Scotland, and Wales. To call the realm by the shortened -hand of "England" fails to recognize the Welsh and Scottish citizens, something that some members of Answers have mentioned. Their request for recognition is understandable.

The rest of your post is trolling. You would be arrested for attempted murder and treason for attacking the British monarch.

You time travel back five  hundred years and raise an army to take the throne by force.

Hate to tell you, but there is not even a title 'King (or Queen) of England' anymore and hasn't been  for over 300 years. It is 'United Kingdom.' It is totally disrespectful to the rest of  the UK when ill-educated people  only mention 'England'.

The only problem with that is she does not rule the country. She is merely a figure head. They have a government and parliament and judges and jurys and even leaders who actually rule the place.

She may not have the power of an absolute monarch, but she is far more than just a 'mere figurehead'.
