How do i issue shares to myself if i own a LLC? How do I account for it?

    LLC's can't issue shares. Are you sure this isn't really a C Corporation or S corporation.

    You don't.

    An LLC is not a corporation; it does not have shares.

    LLC stands for limited liability company.

    Individuals can have different percentages of ownership but it's not based on shares.

      I'm from Trinidad and Tobago, where a Limited Liability company is incorporated and legally authorised to issue shares. I didn't know the structure of American LLCs were partnerships
