Is taking care of my niece a non professional jobs?

    Of course.  It's at the low end.  Babysitting is legal once a teen turns 13.  There are no requirements and no education is required to do it.

    If there is a license or certification required, one could argue thats a professional job...

    Taking care of a family member would never qualify...unless you happen to be their physician.

    Sounds like 'garden variety' daycare.  What would make this a professional job??  Do you teach her computer programming??

    Unless you're teaching your niece something like "string theory", then yes, it is a non-professional job.

    How would we know?   You said absolutely nothing about your niece, your job or your qualifications.

    Are you a registered nurse who takes care of your niece who has been diagnosed with ALS?    Or are you a babysitter?

    We are not clairvoyant.  

    Professionals generally have a state-issued license of some sort (attorney, health care professions, accountant, engineer, teacher, social worker, etc.)
