AUDI is a PREMIUM GERMAN made car made for AUTOBAHN speeds! IOn opther words, made to take LOTS of high speed punishment and come back with a GRIN! THey usualy last EASLY to TWENTY FIVE or more years! They require ONLY GERMAN OILS and fluids and NOT the cap from AUTOZONE! PENTOSIN supplies them from the factory! YOU CANNOT USE VALVOLINE or PRESTONE either! The use of PENNZ EURO will get you a 500,000 mile ENGIEN WARRANTY with proof of use! change it once a year AND USE A hengst SHEEP WOOL OIL FILTER OR A mobil one SYNTHETIC FIBER FILTER only! respect THIS CAR! iT IS A WORK OF genius! the transmissions IS MADE BY zf< A COMPNY THAT now SUPPKLIES MANY American CARS AND TRUCKS! tRUTH IS NEARLY all OF THEM USE zf TRANNIES!

No, they’re not “outstanding cars”. Mostly because they’re known for having “a lot of stupid common faults”.

They’re basically the VW Golf in yet another body, just like the New Beetle. So they typically have pretty much all the same stupid common faults of the Golf, plus a number of other faults unique to the TT.

They may look sturdy, and maybe even a bit exciting, but I’ve always found them to be a bit dull to drive. That does not mean that they are unpleasant to drive, simply that they have none of the driver involvement you’d expect of any car with sporting pretensions.

Used examples are often even worse as previous owners often drive them hard and they simply aren’t very durable, so you can face a lot of regular repair bills. That’s made worse by the TT often being a bit of a bastard to work on.

They are outstanding cars but if you do not have a fat wallet to get them fixed, stay away.
