Probably not,... a lot depends on what your TV has available as far as outputs....There are converter boxes available that will convert digital to analog and analog to digital  of various kinds...The problem is that when you start doing things like that, digital to analog ;analog to digital conversion you get latency....Latency expressed is when lip movement on screen does not match up with the sound coming out of the speakers and most converter boxes will not address latency at all and if they do they are either expensive or the correction is not enough...P.S. Some HD TV,s do have controls with in the menu to address latency, so it might be possible to get a low latency converter box and then using that and also the controls with in the TV itself to get to an acceptable level of output for dialog and sound...So its not impossible but could take some research and work...

You can if the TV has an analog audio output,

or you can use a D/A converter if the TV has only a digital output.

If there is no audio output of any kind on the TV, forget it.

If your TV has RCA audio output connectors, yes.
