Did Yahoo send out a request about email verification?

    No, Yahoo does not do that, it is merely a phishing scam.  Ignore and delete it.

    The answer is no. It's nothing more than an outright scam. Yahoo doesn't send out emails to users for account verification purposes. They already have the users' information stored in their well-secured servers.

    As for the email, you should know to never click on the attachment or link in the body of the message. Don't give the scammers your personal information or you'll risk your account getting hacked. Get it deleted immediately

    Too vague of a question. I refuse to give them my phone number and every time I sign in they ALWAYS harass me to give it or verify a backup email
