    pp= pianissimo (very soft)

    p = piano (soft)

    mf= mezzoforte (medium loud)

    f= forte (loud)

    ff=fortissimo (very loud)

    There are also ppp and fff but I don't know the Italian for them.

    Pianissimo and Forte are the proper terms. What do you think they mean? Say them to yourself a couple of times, you will get the proper answer for your obvious homework question.

    It's a trick question, both true and false.

      It's my favorite koan. Also, I don't like to help people cheat on their homework assignment.
