Do you agree that all porn websites should be banned?

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their nakedness (from illegal sexual acts). That is purer for them” [al-Noor 24:30]

Surely if we're going to be all Islamic about it we should be banning all images of people?

In some ways, porn addiction is a plague like alcoholism. It often destroys marriages and jobs. Porn addiction is becoming rampant and is extremely difficult to overcome.

No - it's a multi-billion dollar industry in the US, and it's legal. I don't think it should be banned simply because it is largely sustained by christians and their purchases.

    1) Porn is as old as man.  There are 20,000 year old pornographic images on cave walls and numerous ancient sex toys have been discovered through the world.

    2) Who are you, or who am I, to decide what other people can and cannot view, as long as everyone involved (the participants in the porn and the viewer) are all consenting adults it is their personal business.

    3) There is evidence that access to porn reduces the incidence of sex crimes as it provides an outlet that might be otherwise expressed in violence.

    4) While "porn addiction" is a real thing, it is not as overwhelming or damaging to society as media outlets like to claim.  Public figures who are vocal "the damaging impact of porn" usually make those claims based on a personal agenda and not the evidence.

So, who's forcing you to look at them? You clowns lack so much self control that you make your women run around in head to toe robes.

You yourself choose your directions we interfere when your actions affect others' life negatively.

Lust makes the mind negative and it is the destroyer of the path of love. God did not make you a sexual object.  A sexual relationship with others women would put you back in the prison and a hurdle on the path of salvation.
