The brain refracts.  The mind reflects.

A mind is just a computer's mind. A mind is you. After the destruction of a computer completely you will not get it's mind. The same is the case with the human beings. Brain is just a media to connect the spirits to your mind. Spirits are separate elements. A human being during his/her lifetime is living with many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. They are knowledge, skills, feelings, emotions, interests and everything. These spirits are your consciousnesses and memories. Even thoughts are not your own. For example, when you want to take a decision on a subject, one after another the spirits think and you just listen, choose or reject the ideas which they transmit to your mind through your brain in the form of thoughts.   A human being doesn't have a spiritual body. Soul is nothing but an energy needed for the functionality of a body. It is not a spirit or anything else. A body's functionality is based on the auto mechanism.  After death all spirits which accompanied a person quit and go to different places searching new bodies. No one lives in any form after death. All human beings are just robots made of flesh and bones and toys of the spirits for their games.

The brain is a physical object; the mind is not. The mind is composed of concepts. The mind is the product of the brain's physical activities.

we were & are all born with the two... mind & brain.

Philosophy has been utterly mistaken about that but not

since the solving of the Body-mind problem.

And another serious mistake by philosophy is about

    to change...

The Upgrading of Climate & Environmental Problems that

have been so ignored both in OUR BRAIN & IN OUR MIND

so to speak. Not any longer.

Source(s): A new report of the above in the journal of the PHILOSOPHICAL transactions of the Royal Society (= covered in Yahoo News UK news of 27th Jan 2020)

One difference is that the brain is associated with a lot of things besides reason. There are parts of your brain that can be found in the brains of reptiles. The human brain is liable to give people nonsense - intrusive thoughts and impulses, sometimes hallucinations.

When people refer to the "brain", they generally mean the physical organ inside the skull. When they say "mind", it's generally a reference to cumulative cognitive functioning, or what the brain does in relation to one's conscious and subconscious processing.
