Same as a regular jar, if stuck, put it in the sink and run hot water over the lid for 10 minutes and try again. The heat will reduce the vacuum pressure in the jar and loosen any contaminated in the threads of the jar.

Stand it upside down and use a blunt table knife to lever the lid between the glass twist and the cap. Do this at the 4 sides till you beak the seal and let air in. Then turn right way up to undo.

Wear rubber gloves to increase grip.

If you have a hot plate place it lid down on that to soften the seal, then use gloves to unscrew - as it will be hot.

The same way you take the lid off any jar.

Insert a knife tip between the jar and the lid and gently pry out a little bit. Do this in 3-4 places around the jar. Run the jar under hot water. Tap with a knife around the jar (last resort, it dents the lid.)

    righty tighty, lefty losey

If it's stuck, try running hot water over the lid to expand it slightly.
