The diagram below on the left shows a stable jet stream that occurs when the Sun is in an active cycle. On the right the Sun is in an inactive cycle, which decreases the Earth's shields (magnetosphere), which in turns allow more galactic cosmic rays to penetrate the Earth's atmosphere causing increased clouds and a wavy jet stream.

Coupled with migrating magnetic poles that will end in a "pole flip" event, climate change towards global cooling has begun. The wavy jet stream will result in both abnormal cooling and warming events but the net effect will be cooling.

I guess Greta has turned things around and we're all safe now, thank God.

Her motto is, "when the sun shines make hay". She saw an opportunity and is being well paid for her actions. Keep your parka handy.

    Winter .

Haven’t  seen much cold air here in the Great Lakes  this winter.

Fractured jet stream with the polar vortex hovering over Siberia, where record cold is happening. Once the jet stream straightens out a bit, you will see a cooler difference.

Global Warming. Yeah. Because anything that happens with the weather, hurricanes, floods, drought, the Syrian civil war, it's all Global Warming. OH WAIT! You said cold, well then, it's Climate Change.

Climate change IS global warming - increases in temperature can lead to local cooling - what happens is REDISTRIBUTION of temperature which can mean some places are COLDER - as long as the average temperature goes up. Perhaps you didn't do maths at school?
