How did humans become so advanced compared to other species?
We’re the only species on the planet with any technology at all, and no other species has even come close. Other primates don’t even have basic tools, while we’re here with frickin computers and airplanes

We were smart enough to develop agriculture. That was all it took to help us invent more things.

I think your question perfectly illustrates what the Bible says, not evolution, but being created by God as sentient people. Adam named the animals, spoke a poem when God first presented Eve to him. They both heard and understood God's instructions as to which trees to eat or avoid. They chose to rebel against God and sided with the devil. God held them accountable. Evolution is taught in school but it's a theory. For more information see Genesis chapters 2 &3, and JW.org.

The number 1 reason is our brains. It is the biggest one in the history of the earth, not in absolute size of course, but in proportion to our body size. Large animals have large brains, but our brain is the largest for any animal of the same size. We are smaller in body size than the gorilla, for example, but our brains are much larger than the gorilla brain. We probably evolved our large brain because we evolved in the African savanna, where there is little food. To survive, our ancestors needed to use their brains to figure out where to find their next meal. .Only the smartest among them survived.
The second reason for our intelligence is speech. Humans evolved speech, and that allowed us to pass along knowledge to people we may never meet, such as our great grand children. They can learn from us by listening to knowledge passed down verbally, so they do not have to keep re-inventing the wheel. When we invented writing, that made it even easier to accumulate knowledge.
A third reason is agriculture. No matter how smart we are, if we spend most of our day thinking about finding food, then we would not have time to think of anything else. After we invented agriculture, many people are freed to invent new things and new technologies.
A fourth reason is our hands. Our hands are the most flexible in the animal kingdom. We can build the finest tools with our hands. In contrast, there is no way a dolphin (which is the second most intelligent species on earth) can build a stone ax or a meat cutting stone tool because their hands end in flippers. Chimps can build simple tools, but their hands are not as flexible as ours, and their brains are not as big as ours.
