Faulty boiler plumber said will check air pressure then water leaked out now he is charging me £200 for water damaged electric board?

Boiler faulty no heating no hot water.

Plumber says electric board is water damaged now but did he do that when he checked air pressure?

Is he really saying right things or making them upto charge more money?

Does it matter at this point? It's not like you'll be able to prove it. So you can either continue to allow this guy to charge and fix the unit for you. Or you kick him to the curb and start all over again with another.

so.you had a broken boiler ..now your trying to say its his fault!..he never checked air pressure ..he checked water pressure ..he did this with the filling loop .a flexible pipe joining two together ..at no point when you pressurise a boiler do you leak water ..its an internal loop ..damaged circuit boards are not uncommon ..
