hanging thermal shirts in direct sunlight to remove the smell of body odor ?

I am buying five thermal shirts since I am working in the cold at night. Washing them weekly I am afraid would damage them. I mean wear them once and wash them weekly to me clothes such as those I would not think they are meant to be washed and placed in a dryer every week.

Wear a short sleeved t shirt under the thermal shirt to be a barrier between your sweat and the thermal shirt.

if you are so concerned--wash on mild cycle--cold water will probably do---dry partially to get wrinkles out and airy dry the rest of the way.

"air drying" dirty smelly clothes really doesn't work too well.

Wash them and air dry after.  Do NOT put in the drier.

I don't know exactly what you mean by a thermal shirt, but if they are so delicate that washing them once a week would damage them, I'd buy something else.
