Because NFL don’t listen to their own fans they’re just a bunch of sports whores

    Why does it matter?

One simple reason? Ratings and Sunday has the biggest shot for this.

I don't think it would make any difference because problem drinkers are going to feel lousy on Monday morning regardless.

  • The league would have to approve the change, and that's not happening. Sunday is the biggest night of the week for television audiences (it's why your major awards shows are always on Sundays). People are home. Saturday? People go out. You can look at TV ratings and Saturday consistently is your worst night in terms of an audience.

The TV networks that broadcast the game don't want it.

It could be, but the NFL finds no reason to.

Because most people are home on Sundays to watch the game compared to Saturdays.

    That would be colossally stupid.
