Element 0 technically already exists. A neutron can exist on its own just fine, it just won't exist very long. With a half-life of about 10 minutes, neutrons decay into protons, electrons, and antielectron-neutrinos.

Element 1 has 1 proton, element 2 has 2 protons, etc.

So Element 0 has no protons.

    That would be a Neutron.

About the same time we discover element -1 or element π.
