Aren't most rude people in New York people who aren't originally from there ?

They either moved there from another country or a different part of the United States and theyve been warned to be scared and catious? Aren't most natives of the tri state area pretty nice people actually

We are very polite. NYC is the center of world culture, so we are known for our refinement.

Up yours. I was born and raised there and have a lot of tolerance for morons like you.

Absolutely not. Sure, we could discuss what you mean by "native" but in the end, most people that are rude in the area are from there. And they are proud of it. It really isn't that hard to crack this nut because just ask some native folks and they will tell you that they are rude and proud of it.

Of course, most people everywhere are nice. But New Yorkers have long had a reputation for being brusque. It's a busy city, and people like the clerks in stores often don't have time to be friendly and chat.
