The moon landing was not genuine. There is footage from WB Studios in Burbank, CA the day the piece was shot. It was produced on a back lot and carefully scripted.

You make it sound like you think there are only been one manned landing.

There have so far been six manned landings and 12 astronauts walking on the Moon.

The people who say it was filmed in a desert are clueless about the way you make a film. Look at any Star Trek, Lost in Space episode from the 1960's and the completely unreal stage sets supposed to replicate an alien world are ridiculous. The people who would be employed by NASA to build a moon landing set would have been the same people on Star Trek. The moon landings were real and it should be a jailable offence to deny it. Why haven't we been back? Because while  we could strip mine Africa of its rare metals for our computers and cell phones there was no need. Now, the Chinese who have no ore mining of their own are preparing for the moment Africa's metals are gone and will strip mine the Moon to get more of them.

No need. We already made friends with the Moon People.

Do you have a couple of trillion dollars laying around to put to going back to the moon?   Of coarse it was about money.  there wasn't any new funding

It's absurdly easy to look up NASA's budgets of the period in question, as they are public documents. Do your own homework, Joe-Fool.

I guess it was in Vegas, maybe it was Reno.  I was in a hotel/casino in the restroom doing the usual. These two drunken farmers came in, coveralls and all. I already knew there was some sort of farming convention there. And as they came in one said to the other, "yessir, this is the place where every man holds his own!!!" And they went a yukkity yukkity yuk.  Nice guys actually. But some people, like this questioner, just shouldn't be permitted outside the county.

Because there's not really any reason to go back. The data that has been useful to understand the Moon has been already recollected.

The US has landed men on the moon 6 times. NONE were fake.

There is no need to go back. There is very little of value there, and the cost of building the rocket, building and testing the equipment and training the people is HUGE. Any valuable materials that could be mined on the moon would cost thousands of times what it costs to dig it out of the earth.

There have been many missions to the Moon since the Apollo missions, by NASA and other space agencies.  Building a base there will be quite expensive, actually, and dangerous.  One day when it is worth the expense and risk, it will likely happen.
