Why don't we replace Australia Day with Centrelink Day. A national celebration of Aussie culture?

Update:

Taxpayers could dress up as dole bludgers. On this public holiday.

It sounds like a good idea given the majority of those who want to abolish Australia Day are also on Centrelink benefits.

We should rename it Invasion Day. That would please the blacks who already call it that, and the white supremacists who like to crow about it, and ordinary Aussies like us who like to call a spade a spade. It was an invasion, and the blacks are a conquered people. Nothing wrong with that, the Germans were beaten in two world wars and have got over it and are the better for it.

They'd only make us fill out a stupid form made to stall our claim and frustrate us into getting a job, it's a form from hell.

And even after all that, it’s hardly worth getting  I hear. It should be increased to give them some dignity, specially the older ones who suffer from age discrimination when they go for jobs
