Why does my areola have a dry spot that’s bleeding, itchy, and burning?

Question basically sums it up. I have a dry patch on my areola, a bit smaller than a dime, that is bleeding and is very itchy. I put some lotion on it and now it looks like a burn.

IDK, but you might be allergic to something in your bra, or to the detergent used to wash it.

same happens to me sometimes. Do you wear your bra constantly without much time with it off? Such as wearing it whilst you sleep. Or do you wear a lot of tight sports bras? If so then the friction or having it always against restricting fabric can cause irritation. If you don't like going braless maybe wear a bralette with no padding or underwire for a bit to reduce further irritation to the area

I actually don’t wear bras that often at all, and when I do, it’s a loose sports bra.
