Where do you hide your money? At home in a safe, in a bank, or in your socks?

Why would I tell a random person in the internet where I keep my money?

It's up to the individual to hide his/her own money (if they have any) and not tell others where it's hidden. To do so, risks losing it.

How about none of the above....most of my money is tied up in investments of some kind.

I keep some available funds in a bank, because thats the most efficient way of handling monetary transactions in general.

It is not so much hiding it as having it in a number of different forms. Back in 1934 FDR devalued the dollar from $20 for an ounce of gold to $35, a 40% devaluation of our money. If you had cash in the bank you suddenly had it drop 40% in value. So it is best to spread your money around. Some in cash, some in gold, some in guns, some in land, some in stock, etc. That way no matter what happens you will not be totally screwed.
