Is this the American yahoo answers?
If it is, how do I get back to the UK version? I don’t like it here

All Englsh speaking countries now see the same question feed........
however depending which country you logged into, the leaderboards will be different, specific to that country.

The UK version is here https://uk.answers.yahoo.com/ If you see "uk." in front of answers.yahoo.com in your URL, then you're using the UK portal. YEARS ago, all English language portals were combined so no matter which portal you login through, you see the same questions (at one time there was an option to see questions from just your portal or from all English language portals). Sorry, mate. If you don't like it "here" then perhaps a Q&A site limited to just UK users would be more appealing (YA doesn't have that). Here you get people who login via UK, US, AU, NZ, IN, etc.

I don't think you can, Yahoo Answers is an American website. It shouldn't matter though, because last time I checked Americans and British people are best friends. I don't know what the problem is here- and I'm British.

Sorry, you have to put up with the American one just like we have to put up with the U.K. one. We've had to learn what braces and breakkies are, you'll have to learn suspenders and breakfasts are.

No, this is the worldwide-version.
All of the old "portals" now see the exact same thing. That's how it's been for years

I agree with Sharon. That is the only way you can permanently fix the problem.

At the bottom of the left column click on the International link and on the country of your choosing.
This is an international site. When you are using the English-speaking portals of Yahoo Answers you will see questions and answers from everyone no matter what country they are posting from.
