Blacks maybe feel the most ostracized in a capitalist society where being white and rich is supposed to make you happy.

  • Money, there are only so many ways to gain it. If you not into "working" crime may be suitable, though a deviation.Β

You mean to ask, "Why do cities with a large amount of blacks get most media coverage over any other race?"

Other races do large amounts of crime but you never know about it because it doesn't get covered by the news. Just like when a young black girl goes missing, you don't hear about it but make her white, you hear about it every time.

Cities with large numbers of unemployed poor have high crime rates.

The race factors only when it's a noticably non-white. A white person's mug shot does not attract the attention of white viewers. An Asian, Mid-eastern, Hispanic or Indigenous person's face stands out as much as a Black face does to a white person.

This so close to what I think, Marli, that I'm tempted writing my answer, but if you read Fred's other questions you'll realize with his mind set it's a waste of time unless you agree with him.

Most crowded areas with poor income and a lack of opportunity have that. Minorities seem to gather in urban areas and to survive you need protection. It's survival of the fittest. You need numbers for that.Β

Politicians see programs that they can profit off of as solutions while rewarding their supporters, thus gaining power. More people get out of gangs in a box than a program. That's just a fact.
